The World of Sprout

Sprout takes place in a world with no life- this much has hopefully been made clear by now.

The earliest concept art for ruins had wood as a main feature.
But it seems some people are wondering what exactly "no life" means.

No life means no people, animals, plants, bacteria, viruses, fish, or even dance parties. Indeed, you will take on the role of the mysterious main character, who finds himself suddenly alive in a world with nothing else. In fact, the world of this game is so completely dead that even all organic matter- wood, cloth, bones- has completely rotted away. All that's left of the old world- our world- is stone and steel.

But there are monsters. These are the memories of evil deeds from the past, whose shadows live on in a kind of stasis of wrongfulness (so apparently that's a word!).

I don't want to reveal what exactly the main character is yet, but I will say that I'm fairly happy with his "origin story" which will be revealed in the game itself. There's no big twist or big wow moment, but I think most players will still find something to like about it.

Also, finding and grabbing the collectibles throughout the game will revive a few lost souls that will then settle and build a village that gives the player access to the game's special features and some key character upgrades.
Anyway, that's all I'm going to say for now. I can't wait til you guys can play it!
